Prior to founding Cambrian in 2000, Venky Harinarayan was a General Manager at Amazon.com, where he helped create the company's marketplace business. Venky has a Ph.D. from Stanford University in Computer Science, and is the holder of multiple patents, serving as investor, advisor, or board member to several technology start-ups.

ALAIN LABAT

Mr. Labat has over 20 years of EDA industry experience. Prior to joining VaST Labat was CEO of Tera Systems and founder, president and CEO of Sequence Design. He was previously with Synopsys Inc. as senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Labat holds an MBA from INSEEC, France, and an MBA from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona.

PÄR-JÖRGEN PÄRSSON

Pär-Jörgen joined Northzone in April 2003. He has been active within private equity and venture capital since 1994, most recently as a business angel investor with his own company Konceptkapital. Pär-Jörgen was during 1998 to 2001 CEO of Cell Ventures, an early stage technology venture capital company that was sold to NewMedia SPARK in 2000. Pär-Jörgen holds an MBA from Stockholm School of Economics (1989)

JONAS RISBERG

Jonas Risberg joined Innovations Kapital in mid 2001 from WorldCom, where he was VP Country Business Group responsible for 5 countries in Europe. Prior to that he was MD Worldcom Nordic for 5 years. In this time the company grew from a start up to $150M turnover and 550 employees. He has a Master of Science in Engineering and Business Administration from Linköping Institute of Technology.

MIKE SCHUH

Before joining Foundation Capital in 1998, Mike Schuh was CEO, co-founder, and chairman of the board of Intrinsa Corporation, a software applications company that was acquired by Microsoft. Mike helped to create and establish two leading software companies: Computervision in the CAD/CAM market, and Cadence in the EDA market.
